The project features a complex landscaping approach, insisting upon the relationship with Dambovita river and the relation to the surrounding urban environment. The proposed development shifts the accent from the main Operetta House square towards its southern (adjacent to the Marasesti passageway) and eastern (bordered by the Dambovita waterfront) sides. The composition is dominated by a lateral axis built as a promenade-fountain area which ends on one side with a beacon (towards Mircea Voda Boulevard) and a belvedere on the other (over the Dambovita river), as well as a system of alleys that meander alongside the riverbank. . The project proposes the viable alternative of an urban park to replace the existing, simple landscaped square.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sound of nature at the Operetta<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Operetta benefits from an advantageous context: it is located in the center of the city, on the left bank of Dambovita river, on an inclined site that comes down towards the water, overseeing the Bucur Church. Just like music, the water and the vegetation create sounds, vibration, and emotion. This is the way in which nature becomes the link between the adjacent urban spaces and the Operetta.
By creating permeable, fluid, and accessible connections towards the convivial social interaction spaces (integrated into the city\u2019s rhythm just like music), the Operetta area becomes a connection point and a manner in which Dambovita river is activated at an urban level. \u201cThe Operetta \u201cFoyer\u201d is at the forefront of the central area through an ample public space that generates events throughout the entire day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
