Context.
The site is situated in in Carpathian Mountains. The plot is surrounded by forests and is orientated to the landscape.
Concept.
The proximity to Sibiu County and the German specific architecture of Transylvania is retrieved in the proposal. The solution is taking shape around the enclosure that is in the spirit of the local architecture.
The concept assures a connection between the outdoor and indoor spaces, including spaces for socializing, big windows, views over the landscape, human scale buildings split in three different volumes: the restaurant, the guest house, and the conference center. The site plan is organized around the interior garden.
Every room is opened towards the landscape, and people can be close to the nature. There are several areas for socializing: a cozy living with a library, a dining, a double-sided fireplace. The architecture is centered on the client experience that choose to go in the nature for a few days.
