The Pavilion House is inspired by the simple, archetypal design of a ridged roof house. The volumes are positioned in two directions: East-West on the ground floor and North-South on the first floor.
The placement on the site considered the orientation according to the cardinal points so that each room can benefit from as much natural light as possible, according to the sustainability principles.
Thus, we obtained generous living and dining rooms with significant height, which open towards the west, onto the terrace and garden area.
The two volumes are compact, to allow for the least amount of heat loss.
The minimization of heat loss and minimum excess heating during the summer are achieved through details that make a difference, such as thermal insulation, impermeability, shading systems, the quality of the woodwork. The following were fitted as part of the installations project: air/water heat pump, heat recovery air treatment unit, solar cell panels. All of these allow for a 20kwh/m²/year consumption.
The smart house concept is further reinforced with the use of automatic lighting, temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind, and precipitation sensors.
All the specialty phases and technical projects were completed by using BIM: architecture, structure, fittings.
