The fire safety permit (also known as ISU / PSI / “Firefighters” permit) is the document through which the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations approves the project proposed for construction. An interdisciplinary study is elaborated in order to obtain the approval, for which the team consists of (at least) the architect, the specialty engineers, and the verifiers certified for the “Cc”and “Ci” requirements.
Fire safety measures are observed regardless of whether the permit is requested by the Urbanism Certificate.
